Since its founding in 1953, the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) has been dedicated to advancing the role of women in the construction industry. Today, with over 160 chapters and more than 6,000 members nationwide, NAWIC provides its members with opportunities for professional development, education, networking, leadership training, public service, and more.

Our Chapter here in Greenville, SC plays an integral role in empowering women in construction. Through educational events, networking opportunities, and a supportive community, we strive to enhance industry knowledge, foster personal development, and build meaningful connections.

 We are proud to give back to our local Greenville community while promoting the growth of the construction industry. Our chapter actively supports several charitable organizations and programs, including:

  • Rebuild Upstate – Providing construction support for families in need and empowering women through hands-on opportunities.
  • Block Kids – A program for local school children that encourages creative thinking and interest in construction principles and careers.
  • Scholarships to Greenville Tech – With scholarships for undergraduate students with a focus on construction-related careers and for their Quick Jobs program.

*Corporate membership is available to companies that wish to designate an employee who meets the criteria for Active Membership to represent the company. The company can change its designated representative at any time, but a separate corporate chapter membership must be purchased for each representative. Each eligible Corporate Member has the right to vote, hold office, and is a member of both the National organization and an affiliated Chapter.  This offer applies to new membership only.
